Fairy Tales
Along with myths and religious stories, Fairy tales was the attempt to follow certain familiar motifs and symbols hidden deep in entertaining stories for children that trick parents in learning them again reading them at bed time with a new perspective. Story tellers and writers with a knack for emotional healing realized that some people can not face their problems or hear dry technical terminology for what was ailing them. So the phrases "once upon a time, in a far away place", " Not much different from here, but different even last", and " there once was a boy like you". These tails that follow the patterns will be around forever or at least until the problem they diagnose is removed from society. Ever wonder why Star Wars and Indiana Jones was such a success. Or even Disney for that reason?
Problem in dating destructive men; Blubeard. Delinquent Fathers, Cinderella or Snow White. Polarized mother, the same. Trouble with the law and addictions, Pinnochio or the movie AI. Trying to save your children from your mistake, Finding Nemo. Forgiveness for betraying your parent, The Tale of Jacob inch Old Testament. If there ever was a problem, there is a myth or fairy tale for it some where.
But one trick to remeber. Since children can not come to terms with the contrasting sides of the mother or father, fairy tales split the personality of the parent into two and sometimes as many as six different characters. For in truth The Good witch and the Bad Witch is the same woman. Once water is thrown on her, she wates in the subconscious, for that is water water stands for. Until the time she is needed again in either her poles. For Aunty Emm has replaced the symbols as a whole woman for Dorothy to follow into adulthood. - Dragon= What blocks us from living our true lives. Parents, bosses, mates, Politicians, and law officials in the destructive role of fear.
- Animals, wolves= sex, appetite,dance, bodily functions.
- Lion, Eagle, Gold, or Griffin= Individualization. Rebirth of the Soul.
- Led= Base state of unhappiness.
- Mercury= Messanger, transformer, in between god.
- Crossroads, cross,= place here nor there. A singularity. Where two places bisect.
- 4= Wholeness. Four season. Four compass points. Christ Consciousness. The Heart.
